Re: Public Service Announcement.
I think Camelot Unchained is too far off in the future for me to start really thinking about it. I certainly hope to find an online game to sink my teeth into with friends, before that.

Re: I got a new computer. Now just need a game...
I also wanted to say, it is difficult for some to get onto the same server because, like in my case, I've belonged to several great guilds over the years and must juggle which guilds to play with. They often choose different servers, dispite me trying to get them to agree on the same server. This is...

...and great people to play it with. Like you guys. I'll be keeping my eyes open for some new mmorpg. My last one was Guild Wars 2. That only lasted a few months and some of us were seperated on different servers .

my server against your server...
I'm on Ehmry Bay, so we are taking on your server this week. Good luck. You guys are demolishing us so far, but it's early in the week. How many Kindred are playing there? I've been more active than I thought I'd be.

Re: Guild Wars 2
Well, I changed my mind. Since I pre-purchased the game, I decided to play. BUT probably not much at all. I've been gaming with a small guild over these years- it includes 2 Percival (DAoC) friends. The guild, not me, choose Ehmry Bay as our server. There -is- a way to temporarily join friends on an...

Re: Guild Wars 2
I changed my mind about playing GW2. I won't be playing it. Most kinds of pvp these days stress me out. And I don't have the motivation to put in alot of time in a new mmorpg. It's also not good for my tendinitis. How do I go about selling my $60 guild wars 2 game/account? heh.

Re: Guild Wars 2
For those planning on playing GW2, check out this site: http://gw2relics.guildlaunch.com/index.php?gid=195321 As far as I know, this is the main site for ex-DAoC players to gather to create a guild/alliance in GW2. I think we should take part, but what do you think? I'd rather start GW2 in a large g...

Re: I worry Guild Wars 2 will be too hard for me!
I've always preferred a range class. Maybe a mezmer? I don't know. I fear pvp is just too stressful for me these days. And I don't like pve. So I'm a bit stumped.

I worry Guild Wars 2 will be too hard for me!
Yes, I know, strange coming from me, a wizard in DAoC who could more than hold his own. Actually, I have never shown in a mmorpg like I did in DAoC. I can't really put my finger on why. And likewise, in GW2, I worry that the action and clicking is too fast for me. Part of it is age. I realized, when...

Re: Guild Wars 2
Hi Hildace. We have something in common- i have minor tendenitis in my elbow (and index finger) caused by too much mouse-clicking. I suppliment my mouse with a trackball device, so I don't have to use my mouse finger. I'm giving my arm/hand a rest somewhat, so it heals by the time Guild Wars 2 is out.

Re: Dominus
Dominus has been cancelled. Sorry for those interested in it, but maybe you'll decide to try Guild Wars 2 out. This is why I don't look into mmorpgs too far ahead of time.

Re: Guild Wars 2
Is the action in battle too quick? I've watched some game footage on youtube and i fear battles will be quick, click-fests. i prefer daoc speed, where you had a second more to make tactical decisions.

Re: Guild Wars 2
any of them, but maybe Portugal is easiest/fastest. you apply at our the company building in Lisbon to L.I.B. (Legion of Independant Buccaneers). I've know these guys for at least a year- a couple of them for a few years. We are all 'older' gamers....(post 40, mostly). The worst part of the game for...

Re: Guild Wars 2
Only one server. Doesn't matter what nation (realm) you pick, that much. England and Spain seem to be the strongest. France and Portugal the weakest. But that doesn't really hurt you much, unless you care about trade wars, which even isn't that important. The company(guild) i'm in is about 8 active ...
