I'm still playing Guild Wars 2 Although now I'm on the Maguuma server instead of Jade Quarry.
Cheers,
Hildace

Also in Leonthor's boat. Still having a lot of fun playing Guild Wars 2. No plans on leaving except for maybe Camelot Unchained (if it ever comes out).

Re: Archeage
Not sure what any of those rankings mean. I did look at the class arrangements. An Asura Mesmer looked appealing. But, if it is dying out, I may just keep waiting until "the next big thing." Not sure what to do. I miss DAoC ultimately, but it is unplayable to me in its current state, so I...

Miss you guys also. Im thinking of trying GW2 out. Where is everyone hiding there? Haha Cleon :P You're a bit late! There are these like...megaservers now or something like that...It's like...each zone has people from all sorts of different servers. For the WvW (World vs World...like Realm vs Realm...

Re: Guild Wars 2
This game is still the best mmo currently on the market imo. Having a total blast, whether it's world pvp or pve stuff.
Probably going to play it for quite some time to come. Still on the Jade Quarry server, with a single lvl 80 (warrior)
Hope all are doing well!
Best,
Hildace

Re: Favorite game of all time?
yo guys! saw this bookmark and thought I'd see what was up. I played NES / N64 when i was young, and always loved some Goldeneye and Mario Kart, but I got hooked on gaming with Counter Strike at a local LAN shop that opened up when i was 17. Lucky for me the guys there introducted me to DAoC which ...

Re: Favorite game of all time?
When I started gaming, I was playing primarily first person shooters. I used to go to Games n Gizmos every weekend for 3 hours to destroy people in the original Half-Life (though i did not care for team fortress and did not play any half-life games after the original). So I got hooked into gaming wi...

Been playing Guild Wars 2 (jade quarry server) since the middle of the summer, but am seldom online due to the masters program and med school applications.
Might play camelot unchained when it comes out, but otherwise I'll probably stay in Guild Wars 2 (in addition to some single player games).

Re: Public Service Announcement.
Mark Jacobs hasn't had much success since he helped develop DAoC in the first place. He followed up that with the horrendously bad Trials of Atlantis expansion, and equally pathetic Warhammer Online.... If I had time I might at least give his new project a shot...but still can't believe how many tim...

Hildace, do you have a last name preference? Your character is about to be introduced in Ch. 31 as a war captain. hmmm that's pretty cool...hmm but I'm not really sure on the last name...I did use Esqueleto as a last name back in DAoC (mainly b/c it sounded cool at the time..but it has a lame meani...

Feel free to use my pole armsman Hildace (pronounced, Hil-dace, "usually pronounced ace, not oss"..sometimes nicknamed hil, hild or ace). I still miss duking it out with the mids and hibs back in the old frontiers...hopefully some day when RL isn't so crazy, I'll be back at it! :) Best, Hi...

I really want to give GW2 a try but unfortunately I have my hands full with a masters program at the moment. I'll have to see where things are at after the first semester =P
Hope everyone is doing well!

Re: Guild Wars 2
Hey there, Hildace. Been awhile. Hope all is well. Hey Cleon! Yea it's been a long time--haven't forgotten the good times spent with KoV back in DAoC--i actually had an active DAoC acct before my elbow probs started this past February :P (came back to it in sept 2010). It's not as good as pre-toa d...

Re: Guild Wars 2
Hi Hildace. We have something in common- i have minor tendenitis in my elbow (and index finger) caused by too much mouse-clicking. I suppliment my mouse with a trackball device, so I don't have to use my mouse finger. I'm giving my arm/hand a rest somewhat, so it heals by the time Guild Wars 2 is o...

Re: Guild Wars 2
I kind of wish I could play this (as it is the closest thing I've seen to DAoC, and DAoC is a shell of its former self), but I'm fighting tendonitis in my elbows atm =/ and i might not have much time at all in the fall. RL is kickin my @ss lol =P
Hope u are all doin well!
Best,
Mike (Hildace)

Re: New Kindred Birth
That is great to hear. So how does it work now? Is there only 1 server at this point? I guess you must change your character's name if you transfer it over or something? I didn't realize DAOC had anything left. I might activate one character just to come visit as a side distraction from time to tim...

Hildace! I saw you creeping inactively in our ventrilo server one day awhile back. I was very glad to see you were still around. Enjoy DAoC for now, but I sure hope you reconsider giving WoW a try at Cataclysm's launch. KoV is bustling there. Of course, I'd be highly honored to have you back home. ...

Re: New Kindred Birth
Ended up going back to DAoC, and tbh, with little of interest (when it comes to games coming out) on the horizon, I'll most likely be playing DAoC for a long time. It only took me 11 days to complete my new template and get everythin goin again! (as I got my old char back). If anyone is really bored...

Re: New Kindred Birth
Hey Everyone! I just thought I'd stop by and say hello...it's been quite a while, but I still feel as though my best mmo days were those that I spent back in DAoC. I've been thinking about going back to DAoC lately, but the current DAoC server is post-ToA, and I'd rather play DAoC Origins (or DAoC 2...
