ATTN: ALL Members and New Applicants! Please Read!

Post by Cleon »

I need everyone remotely interested in Warhammer PvP/RvR to sign up in the Global post I made at the top of every forum you visit, called "Setting Up Core RvR Groups (September 30 Deadline)."

We are wanting to finalize construction of our first Warband within the next few weeks, or end of September at the latest.

Warband members are considered "on-call" guild members. If you're interested in running with the guild in PvP at all, then you need to sign up--even if it's just as a fill-in.

Organized groups will serve a few purposes:

-Realm Defense when our forces are under attack.
-Realm Offense when we or our alliance has scheduled a plan of attack on the enemy.
-Keep Claiming when our Guild wants to hang our banner high and gather Guild bonuses.
-Realm Ganking when our Guild feels the need to run together for the sole purpose of slaughtering opposing enemy groups in Open-Field RvR.
-End-Game Content in both RvR and PvE that our guild or alliance wishes to participate in.

Whether you are casual or hardcore, I would suggest signing up for the roles listed. You may not attend every gathering, but chances are you will be able to attend some of them, and you may be needed more often than you anticipated.

What must you do to qualify? Follow these ten (10) easy steps, and we will have a very enjoyable PvP/RvR experience in Warhammer.

*Be capable of playing at least three times a week for a span of up to 2-4 hours in length each time. (Unless you're fill-in status, in which case frequency would not apply.)

*Be capable and willing to use ventrilo without causing any of us a headache with needless chatter (this is a strict rule)!

*Be capable of selecting the target of your Main Assist in the group. Do not fight random targets unless asked to do so.

*Be a team player. If you do not wish to work with a group setting, then go solo. We do not tolerate wandering off from the main group.

*Be knowledgeable about your character and role in the group. There are reasons why we have specialization requirements and positions in the groups organized the way we do. Know your role!

*Be on time and prepared for battle. Do not show up late or unprepared on a scheduled run and then complain when we've filled. We do NOT advocate standing around for long periods of time. Bring any in-game or crafted enhancement items you have access to for your character (applies to both RvR and PvE content).

*Be capable of following instructions. Bring the right seige parts, and attack the correct spot on the structure. Follow up to your group leader when it's time to move out, etc.

*Be willing to practice and learn. It will take time for us to develop cohesion again. Be patient and take time to practice in both group and solo sessions.

*Be willing to lose a fight. We will not win every battle, and I will not tolerate whining when we lose. Evaluate and educate yourself from the loss, and realize we lose as a team. Never point fingers at any team mate--even if it is their fault.

*Be willing to win a fight! We will win some really crucial and close battles. When we win, do not get cocky and start slacking. Stay prepared, and at the end of the run, we will celebrate our victories. Stay focused while on the battlefield!

What matters the most is that our Dark Kindred family has fun conquering our opponents and encounters in Warhammer. If we work together in an organized fashion, our experiences will be incredible, prosperous, and successful. Once we've achieved great victories, we'll finish our night waiting to see if we can match the intensity we experienced next time we step on the field.

All particpations and contributions, whether great or small, are vital to the endeavoring glory of our guild. Participation is not a competition between guild members either; we only expect you to help as you are able, and helping more often doesn't make you "better" than your teammates. Your realm points, abilities and PvP gear are your private reward for maximizing successful combat.

Thank you all for your participation and understanding as we organize what will become the future successes of our guild. Join us in our victory celebration. We encourage everyone to become a part of the battle, and experience the joy we all know as the Kindred.

We are Dark Kindred!
We are Kindred of Valiance
